LONDON – Wednesday 7th October, 2020: Divido, the leading, global whitelabel platform for retail finance – the provision of point-of-sale consumer credit – has, today, been shortlisted for Best Technology Provider – Payments & Collections, in the 2020 Credit Awards.

The nod comes in the wake of a slew of award nominations, including a triple clutch for the Payments Awards and further recognition by the Credit & Collections Technology Awards, as the global, retail-finance leader awaits the big awards showdown at the November ceremonies.

Known as ‘the Oscars of the industry’, the Awards recognise and reward innovation, best practice and the hard work of individuals, business divisions and pan-global giants across the entire sector.

Christer Holloman, CEO and founder, Divido, said: ‘It’s been yet another great year for Divido, not only in terms of awards but also for our company as a whole, as we celebrate our fifth anniversary with significant development and growth.

‘To be a finalist in the Credit Awards, our industry’s Oscars, demonstrates once again that Divido is truly transforming retail finance for lenders and merchants alike, at a time when the payment method was never more desirable for consumers.’

The Credit Awards take place as a virtual event on Thursday 5th November, 2020.

About Credit Awards

Credit Strategy celebrates Credit Awards’ 21st anniversary as the flagship awards in credit and financial services on 5 November, taking place as a virtual event. The awards, known as ‘the Oscars of the industry’, recognise and reward innovation, best practice and the hard work of individuals, business divisions and pan-global conglomerates across the entire industry.

The industry is excited to come together at the end of the year to celebrate the outstanding achievements across the credit and finance community. It’s the perfect way to end the challenging year on a high.

In a year in which the pandemic has become a catalyst for innovation, agility and transformation, the Credit Awards will reflect the times in 2020 by becoming a fully digital, broadcast event, taking place during Credit Week and a part of the Credit Festival.
